HISTORY OF PRAISE, POWER, AND DELIVERANCE FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES, INC.
Praise Power and Deliverance Fellowship Ministries, Inc. had its conception in 1993, through the efforts and prayers of Sister Patricia Grimsley. Apostle D. G. Taylor, Sr. (Elder Taylor at that time) was part of a crusade team consisting of Elder Hector Grimsley, Sis. Patricia Grimsley, Sis. Brenda Grimsley, Sis. Wateria Grimsley, and Sis. Nita Grimsley. Upon meeting Elder Darryl Taylor, Sr., services began being held in Albany, GA at the Apostolic Church of Jesus. However, in one of the services in Alabama, the presence of God was high, and his daughter Velsenna awakened from the praises going forth, and began speaking in tongues as the Spirit gave utterance and the sound of Pentecost filled the House. The praises and singing and the outpouring of the Holy Ghost lasted a few days with others receiving the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues. Eld Taylor began to ask, “When will we meet again?” This was the start of this great fellowship and the traveling of praise power services. The work of the ministry went back to Texas, ventured to Newark, New Jersey, and back again to Albany, GA. The gospel of Jesus Christ was spreading abroad like fire.
Travel extended within the United States as signs and wonders followed them. There was a 100-night revival wherein the team stayed consecrated unto the Lord. God continued to perform many mighty acts. During this revival, the Lord spoke out in power among us and called the revival “Holy Ghost Deliverance Shake Down.” A sign reading Holy Ghost Deliverance Shakedown was placed in the sanctuary setting the tone of revival. One side of the sign was black, representing power and judgments, and the other side was red, representing fire and anointing. It was in that year the Lord placed Elder Taylor in all-black garments. The Lord began revealing Himself to Elder Taylor through the Tabernacle. He did not know then that he was being prepared to receive the Ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In March of 1995 Elder Taylor was led of the Lord to go on 40 days of fasting and prayer. Within the 40 days of fasting and prayer the Lord showed him the vision of His HOLY DIVINE ORDER, followed by His APOSTOLIC MINISTRY and KINGDOM LIVING. He revealed unto him the tabernacle veil, the law, and the prophets. The Lord said to Elder Taylor, “See then, that you build all things according to the pattern” as did Moses. It was then that the Lord handed him Hebrews 6:1 – “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine moving on to perfections.” He knew then that he was advancing from the foundation into Apostolic Ministries. This was no longer doctrinal foundation life, but it was the step into absolute truth and kingdom living!
In this end-time, a global clarion call, for those whom nothing has been prepared, is being made. In this last hour there must be a sound made. Praise Power and Deliverance Fellowship Ministries, Inc. is here to make the sound and reveal the glorious light. The light shall remain for the world to see and come in and be safe.
This is a continuation of the ministry of Jesus Christ.
The name “Praise Power and Deliverance Fellowship Ministries” is
derived from:
PRAISE
A people who are called out to become God’s praise. The name does not represent what the new age church is doing out of fashion and formality. PRAISE represents a people who are coming to Kingdom, and are getting ready to become God’s praise. (Eph. 1:12) when they become His praise they will exemplify “POWER”.
POWER
Represents the rising up of the Sons of God with fire in their hands… fire in their feet… fire in their mouth. This will lead to true “DELIVERANCE”. In power, the message of the sons of manifestation or sonship teaches that there is a greater power beyond the Pentecostal experience. True believers in the body of Christ will apprehend this greater power and will enter a higher realm of holiness and ministry to bring great deliverance in this end-time.
DELIVERANCE
Represents those people who will never again walk in wantonness (the trait of lacking restraint or control; reckless freedom from inhibition or worry). When true deliverance comes afflictions and sufferings are swallowed up in victory.
